The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has developed a new globally harmonized methodology for runway condition assessment and reporting called the Global Reporting Format (GRF).
To assist in the implementation of the GRF at Canadian Airports, Transport Canada has released Advisory Circular (AC) 300-19 Global Reporting Format (GRF) for Runway Surface Conditions with an implementation date of August 12th, 2021.
The Canadian Airports Online College (CAOC) in partnership with Airports Council International has developed the online Canadian Global Reporting Format (GRF) course that will assist airport personnel to meet the new runway condition reporting requirements outlined in Transport Canada Advisory Circular.
