The Facilitating Training course explores how to create a positive training environment, engage learners, manage training sessions effectively, and bring your training to life. This course helps you develop the confidence and techniques to deliver training that connects and has real impact. 

This course forms part of the Certificate in Train the Trainer, which covers the key pillars of workplace training – from identifying training needs, to training design and delivery, and assessment and evaluation.

3. Being an Effective Facilitator

  • Core verbal and non-verbal communication skills effective facilitators need.
  • Effective questioning techniques.
  • Delivering feedback.

4. Making Adjustments

  • Balancing sticking to the plan vs. adjusting as needed.
  • Knowing when it’s time to re-energize learners or take a break.

5. Dealing with Difficult Situations

  • Setting the ground rules to make your training run more smoothly.
  • Techniques for staying on track and on time.
  • Handling difficult learners and tough questions confidently and assertively.

6. Wrapping Up

  • Effective ways to summarize key learnings and maximize learning retention.
  • Facilitating assessments.

7. Facilitating Training Beyond the Classroom

Assessment

This course includes an integrated online assessment. Candidates must successfully complete the assessment to receive a Certificate of Completion for the course.
