Overview

Take the first step to discovering what it takes to succeed as a workplace trainer in our free Introduction to Workplace Training course.

This course explores the benefits of training and the role and characteristics of an effective trainer. You’ll also gain insights into how adults learn and a better understanding of competency-based training.

This course forms part of the Certificate in Train the Trainer, which covers the key pillars of workplace training – from identifying training needs, to training design and delivery, and assessment and evaluation.

  • Common instructional design models.

5. Introduction to Competencies

  • What is a competency?
  • The benefits of competency-based training.

Assessment

This course includes an integrated online assessment. Candidates must successfully complete the assessment to receive a Certificate of Completion for the course.
